Updates to Userbrain’s Pricing

Updates to our Pricing and Plans

Hi everyone, I wanted to share some significant updates to Userbrain’s pricing plans today.

TL;DR

  • On October 11th, 2022, we’ll increase the prices for all Userbrain plans.
  • If you’re currently on a paid monthly or yearly plan, your price will NOT go up.
  • You can still lock in current pricing and features until October 10th by subscribing or by upgrading your account.

We’re constantly working to improve our platform, add new features and provide the best possible experience for our customers. To continue doing this, we’re updating our pricing to ensure we can keep investing in the platform and growing our team alongside our customers.

Before we get into these details, let me clarify: If you are currently on a paid plan, don’t worry – your price will not go up due to these changes!

However, if you upgrade to any subscription plans before that date, you will lock in the current reduced price for as long as you remain a customer.

Plus, you’ll have access to all of the features in our paid plans.

Updated Prices for Plans

Userbrain plans are the most affordable way for product teams who want to stay in the feedback loop and continuously run user tests to improve their product.

Every plan includes a monthly allowance of testers with the Userbrain panel and testers invited by you.

Here is a breakdown of what’s changing with Userbrain’s plans:

  • Pro Plan: $249/mo → $299/mo
  • Agency Plan: $749/mo → $799/mo
  • Pay As You Go: $35/credit → $39/credit

Here is an overview of the new prices, effective October 2022:

You can still save 20% on any plan by switching to annual billing.

How to choose the right Userbrain plan

Pro Plan

The Pro plan is designed for teams who need more frequent testing or access to more advanced features such as team collaboration, test automation, and testing with an existing pool of customers. The Pro Plan already includes ten testers from the Userbrain panel per month – the remuneration for testers is already included in the monthly price.

Agency Plan

With the Agency plan, you can test with up to 30 testers from the Userbrain panel per month and collaborate with your team to get feedback on your latest product changes. The plan also includes running tests with up to 90 of your users per month.

Whether you’re just getting started with user testing or you’re looking for a more streamlined way to manage your team’s testing, Userbrain’s Agency plan is an excellent option for you.

Enterprise Plan

In addition, we have also recently added a new Enterprise plan for our larger customers. This plan offers enterprise-grade features and customized support to help you get the most out of Userbrain. Get in touch with our sales team if you want to learn more about our Enterprise offers.

Session Roll-over

We know sometimes it’s hard to follow a regular user testing schedule. Depending on the tests you are running, you might be left with unused sessions at the end of a month.

Session rollover on Userbrain

With Session roll-over, you can carry over unused user testing sessions from one month to the next. Here are the limits on every plan:

  • Pro Plan: up to 30 unused sessions roll-over
  • Agency Plan: up to 90 unused sessions roll-over
  • Enterprise Plan: fully customizable

This allows you to stay flexible with your user testing schedule, use the sessions whenever needed and get the most out of your user testing budget.

Updated Pay As You Go Prices

The Pay As You Go Plan is a flexible alternative to a monthly plan and a good option for those who test infrequently.

Instead of paying a recurring monthly charge, you can buy test credits as needed. One credit equals testing with one user from our panel. There is no subscription and no minimum order for Pay As You Go.

The new pricing for Pay As You Go credits:

  • Pay As You Go: $35/credit → $39/credit

You can still buy credit packs and get up to 150 testers for free.

Roadmap

The Userbrain team constantly works on new features to improve your user testing experience.

Here are some of the upcoming features on our roadmap:

  • Support for testing on Android devices
  • Support for native app testing
  • A completely redesigned iOS app for testers
  • Automatically generated reports of your user test sessions

Summing up

We’ve done extensive user testing and research to come up with a pricing structure that makes sense for everyone, and we’re confident this is the best way forward. Thank you for your continued support, and we can’t wait to keep bringing you the upcoming features on our roadmap!

As always, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team. Thank you for being a loyal Userbrain customer!
